Are Bollywood films relatively portraying the life of the majority of Indians?

Bollyood films are very glosy and ten to show the life of the midddle class and wealthy this is the current trend at the moment.
Why when majority of population is working class why not make film about raksha wallah etc

NO. Producers just plan and venture Masala films ignoring ground realities of poor and middle class.

  1. Movies are like books and most other entertainment, intended to take the viewer/reader etc to another world where they forget what’s happening in reality and for a time live in a fantasy world.
