This is a musical montage I put together based on AFI’s 100 Years, 100 Movies Quotes. The list was made in 2005 and was first aired on CBS as a special to commemorate the 100 greatest quotes as voted by 1500 critics, artists, and historians. The montage has all 100 quotes including the one I added from It’s a Wonderful Life (101 total). It also has Bette Davis’ “What a dump” quote, which I was missing in both previous montages.

What are some other great independent films- like paranormal activity?

i am looking for successful independent films. movies that did not cost as much money to make as the ones all done in hollywood, but they still turned out being great.

I disagree–Paranormal Activity wasn’t a great film…it had great marketing minds behind it.

Otherwise, here are some independent films that went on to be successful.

There are tons of independent films that most people don’t consider independent because of the popularity it received. No, many (if not most) didn’t have such a small budget as Paranormal but all of them did have significantly smaller budgets than a regular studio-backed film and it was really only after it gained some kind of critical acclaim that a studio stepped in to buy the rights and distribute it widely.

Can any of you actually prove that the story of the talking snake and Love Boat with billions of species etc are real or disprove any of his arguments? And how do you know what Jesus would say if he saw the film?

Nobel prize? Hardly though I do believe there is a certain Oscar award in store for him.
