Is it important to expose your children to classic films?

If so, what is your ‘must see’ list?
I don’t know if it’s "important" compared to other things you might do with and for your children, but it’s VERY educational and can be a lot of fun!
As for a list…
Arsenic And Old Lace
The Wizard Of Oz
The Best Years Of Our Lives
City Lights
for a more modern classic I like Little Big Man

sometimes I like watching them. It takes my emotional pain away. sometimes I write poems about pain and how pointless life is when watching them. good luck, if thier is any left.

If you consider films that your child won’t see or that aren’t new to be classics then, yes. Number one on my list is "The princess bride".
Goonies
All Indiana Jones
Etc.
Yes I am a child of the 80’s

To Kill A Mockingbird is good for a high school kid who is also reading the book, most classics that are books, I would recommend, but would bore most children, but I would say Free Willy, The Goonies, Home Alone, Star Wars, just movies that are good and that they would actually be interested in… different for all kids.

Classic films are fine, but I’d rather expose my kids to classic books. For example, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is an excellent movie, but the book has so much more depth.
