  1. good video… …
good video… everybody has strengths and weaknesses… if we each concentrate on ourselves, and loving ourselves for who we are, we’ll be less critical of others… <3 to everyone. peace

  2. truth is nobody …
truth is nobody cares as much as you think

You might be really really pretty but some people just dont know when they see it cause most people are stupid (as evident on youtube)

Guys that will tell you your ugly are uneducated and dont see you for what you really are and what you can be

So my advice is just live on and be a good person and know you can change all of that

  3. I think all of …
I think all of those girls were really pretty.. But people tell me sometimes that i am pretty too.. But them i dont belive them, because i DO look strange, and because my face is growing wrong, so i want to get this surgery when im 20 so i can look normal..

    Very good message. …
Very good message. But I think sometimes the idea of girls being self conscious about being skinny isn’t being addressed very much. I’m naturally very thin. Not to an unhealthy extent, it just runs in my family. In middle school kids always used to make fun of me for how skinny I am. I started eating very unhealthily trying to gain weight and have a more desirable “curvy” look. I wasn’t gaining weight, only causing harm to myself. I’m 14 now, but I still feel the pressure.

    I wish we could …
I wish we could change how people are but we can’t. I think doctors are the cause for most of this. I know we have a big problem with childhood obesity but fat is fat. Regular people dont really see me as fat but whenever I go to the doctors they tell me to loose weight and bring out some chart saying how I weigh more than every other single kid on the planet. I come back next year and I lost ten pounds and they don’t congratulate me or anything just tell me I’m fat again. And again. And again.

@CanadiaNecro1 : (haha, I do agree with you about the deoderant smell)

I thought this campaign was purely just another way to make money too, and it is really, but i do think they are doing the actual work to ‘change’ things also. One of the Dove ‘real women’ models came to my school recently to discuss body image issues, and she was very real and inspirational, and the company didn’t make tons of money off of that…

    I don’t think Dove …
I don’t think Dove really care’s about girl’s self esteem. They’re a HUGE multi national corporation. They’re just doing this for pr. I don’t use their nasty deoderant because it smells like diapers and looking at these girls faces, I wouldn’t use their facial soap either. Their skin lookes dry and red. How exactly are they helping girls anyway? By giving them free soap so they don’t smell? I have to admit, I’d have poor self esteem if I had body odor all the time.

  15. i have had a eating …
i have had a eating disorder for 2 years now…i gain and loose, gain and loose, so no one knows, but i’m going through a lot of pain…i’ve been bulimic for 2 months now..people are starting to suspect things. i do not know how this is going to end up, i will never, NEVER, be happy unless i’m thin. synonyms in my head: graceful, in control, beautiful, light, free, delicate, precious, etc.
i am clueless, have no idea what to do…

the tv love the tv than the tv again

  17. i love these dove …
i love these dove self esteem ads and stuff cuz they make me love myself, and not worry about what others say. I’m 14 and have a flat chest and people never let me forget it, but thats just the way i am and i dont care what others think anymore.

  20. i did not feel like …
i did not feel like I was fat ,many boys looked at me and wanted to go out with me-until i was told by my doctor at age 13 and 120 pounds at 5ft 3inches-I had to go on a salad and water diet to lose weight. After that it seemed like that is all I thought about-how i looked.I developed a habit of not eating all day until late evening-then binging.I am now 35 and have the same habit.I weigh the most i ever have-225!I disgust myself now.I wish I had never tried losing weight then.

  21. Between re age of …
Between re age of 10 12 life was bitter. I started to get teases ruthlessly by my family. Looking back I think that they were crazy to call me fat and nickne me dog cause at that age I did believe them. I never was fat or a dog, but the feeling they gave me hurt so.

    I sometimes thinl …
I sometimes thinl that if I enter high school thinner, with better clothes and perfect make up than I would be instantly popular.hearing about that girl that got hospitalized really put it into perspective. I’m one of those people that take things a little too far and get obsessed so I probably would’ve ened up with a full on eating disorder If I didnt start seeing these dove commercials. thank you dove….I owe you one :]
