novels/ films which has a character who is hiding their emotions from others?
Can anyone give me some suggestions of characters in novels/plays/films who hide their emotions (sadness, depression) from their loved ones.
I need it for my Art work at school

the character is Jane Eyre (the book in called Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte)
Elisabeth Bennet (from Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen), and most of the main characters of Jane Austen’s books.
the reason for hiding their emotions is different. Jane Eyre is very interiorised (having a very very hard childhood, no parent since she was very little, having no one who loved her-except a teacher in the Lowood school, were she learned and than worked for many years).
I think this is the best example.
