norway and Sweden did it in a Big way in the 1930s 40s and my mum (who lived during Nazi Germany, but wasn t Jewish) nearly wouldn t have MADE ME because she was supposed to be sterilised

Some of you may not know this… At the time just before World War II and after, at least half pf the U.S. had Eugenics Laws in effect preventing certain people from breading. NOT just couples, but individuals going as far to sterilize men and woman from EVER being able to reproduce. You should look it up. Much of which that happened during the Holocaust was was derived from Ideas born and implemented in the U.S. your Grandparents or parents may remember it. Food for thought.
