    He sees himself as Judgement.
The most chilling part is when he first turns toward the shop owner, as if to say ‘that little slip has meant judgement day has come for you. Now death has his eyes on you.’ You should never have tried to make small-talk. The worst sin.

  5. @krnxanga Joker …
@krnxanga Joker also has explosives hidden in his clothes. He`s the joker, he`s crazy, you never know what he has.

It introduces his method of flipping the coin and killing them if they get it wrong. It shows he has no sympathy, and he plays by the coin, and he feels everyone gets a chance, and everyone is going to die eventually and if he gets to them first it was their destiny in the first place to meet and for Chigurh to kill them. It explains this in a book with a series of complicated metaphors and dreams.

I love this film and this is one of my favourite scenes. But I don’t really understand why it’s in the film? I mean it doesn’t really play a part in the story line does it??? Still a great scene though, kind of tense and funny at the same time.
